Eight people have been killed in indiscriminate shootings at three massage parlors in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition, the shooting of several people has caused fear among Asian-Americans. The police said that all the three parlors were Asians and 6 of the victims were Asians. The other two are white Americans.
Robert Erong Long, a 21-year-old white man, was arrested around 5pm on Tuesday in connection with a massacre in the Aquarth area. The killer was identified after watching CCTV from a store near the massage parlor and was arrested within four hours from Crisp County, South Georgia, more than 150 miles away. About 6 hours after the murder, the police could not confirm the motive of the behavior. He did not even reveal the identities of the victims around 11:30 pm. Although the Asians were attacked, the police could not confirm that the killer was involved in the massacre with such a hostile attitude. However, many Asians in the United States have been attacked in the past year in the wake of Trump’s blaming of China over the origin of the corona.
The Asian-American and Pacific Islanders released data on 3,700 attacks last year. The agency also mentioned that all of them are regional and racist. Enye Joe Biden also sheds light on his latest speech.
